Qin Yuan Chun (Spring in the Garden of Qinyuan) - Changsha
Independent in the cold autumn, the Xiang River flows north, towards the Orange Isle.
Witnessing the mountains ablaze in red, forests colored in layers;
The river runs crystal clear, with hundreds of boats vying for the current.
The eagle soars in the vast sky, while fish swim near the shallow bottom,
Countless creatures compete for freedom under the frosty sky.
A mournful song may evoke tears, reminiscing the tender moments;
The morning glow resembles a frost, the lingering dream is reluctant to be disturbed.
In the chaos of the flying wind, who is there laughing foolishly?
In the prime of life, I'll keep the ancient lamp of Buddhism.
The bright moon shines through the pine trees, a clear spring flows over the rocks;
The sound of bamboo echoes as the washing maidens return, the lotus stirs beneath the fisherman's boat.
Spring blossoms come and go at will, but the noble are able to stay;
Joy and happiness, fortune and blessings fill the house.
The silkworm dies once its silk is exhausted, the candle turns to ash as tears begin to dry.
The morning mirror only reflects changes in the cloud-like hair, while the night sings to the cold moonlight.
Pengshan has few paths from here, the blue bird diligently keeps watch.
Every creature in the grass and trees is lovable, and with the crow of a rooster, all is peacefully settled under the sky.
